THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE,,,,,,,,,, OCT 26TH 2015

Nothing about me has ever been straight:  Can't walk straight, see straight, cut straight, write straight or think straight.  There are days, like today when a little voice warns you to "stay where you are.  Just don't bother!" and then says, smugly, "well I did warn you," when you don't.

I shower, I dress and end up feeling as if I've done a day's work, had my face rearranged by a first year student  cosmetic surgeon and done 10 rounds with the neighbour's Rottweiler.
Then I look around and see someone
                                                    worse off than myself.

This is a good start.
Welcome to Blogland. There are sensible people writing Blogs but be aware that not all are as sensible as us.

Hello Rosamund,
I have come here on your sister's invitation and see that you have been blogging for years - how come we hear about it only now?
Anyway. What you say about there always being someone who is worse off than yourself is so true for me all the time (because I feel my life is a particularly good one) that it sometimes makes me feel guilty. Not guilty enough to actually DO something about it, though, I'm afraid.

HI Rosamund, I too have come via Frances. I thought she said that you had just started blogging, but no matter, I shall enjoy getting to know you. Will read some back posts when I have a bit more time…….shower and dog walking is required now!

Voices which tell us not to bother are generally best ignored, I feel.

Thanks ever so much everyone. I really appreciate your support. Adrian, too much good sense can get tedious. I'm all for a good giggle...often. I'll try and keep it up, but life is a bit full. Patsy, I'm rather good at obeying voices that tell me not to bother. They're not right all the time, but when they are, it's bliss. I've met you all before, but blogging didn't become a habit. I shall try and cultivate it

Thanks Joanna, I'm finding blogging a bit slow at the moment. no doubt I shall speed up with practise. Although I profess to be a writer, my spelling has always been appalling; please forgive me
